Announcing Orbital’s Public Interest Green Initiative

Since announcing the Rev 1, we’ve heard from various government agencies and publicly funded organizations who look forward to adding the vehicle to their fleets as soon as possible, once deliveries begin in 2026.

To ensure our country’s taxpayer-funded cities, states, agencies, and other groups can compete with the significant interest we’ve received from industrial partners, we’ve created the Public Interest Green Initiative program.

This program allows any government or publicly-funded organization to reserve Rev 1’s without requiring a reservation fee or a binding letter of intent.

The reservation holds the organization’s spot in line in our production queue, pending final purchase in 2026.

The public deserves to benefit first.

We know that public budgets don’t always allow for immediate spending, and understand that binding purchase agreements can take time. However, those factors shouldn’t prevent our technology from benefitting the public interest as soon as possible.

Furthermore, considering the outsized sustainability benefits of electrifying UTVs, we feel strongly that our cities and local governments should have the option to be first in line once deliveries of the Rev 1 begin.

How to move forward?

To take advantage of the Public Interest Green Initiative program, email Greg Knox, Chief Revenue Officer for Orbital, at gk@orbitalelectric.systems. Be sure to specify the name of your organization, the quantity and trim level(s) you’d like to reserve, and contact information for at least two contacts within your organization.
